RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, is proud to announce a new national partnership with Chi Phi, the oldest American men's college social fraternity.
“Chi Phi is pleased to stand with RAINN and their mission to provide critical support and resources to survivors of sexual violence and those working diligently to prevent it,” said Ryan Lugabihl, Chi Phi director of education and accountability. “We are proud to launch this important partnership as we work toward raising awareness among our communities.”
Chi Phi has 50 active Chapters and Colonies across the country and more than 47,000 living alumni. Chi Phi's mission is to build better men through lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, and character development. Their core values are truth, honor, and personal integrity.
“RAINN is pleased to work with Chi Phi in an effort to prevent sexual violence on college campuses and increase support for campus survivors,” said Heather Drevna, RAINN vice president of communications. “Their enthusiasm at both the chapter and national level is strong, and we look forward to supporting their work toward a shared mission.”
RAINN’s other engagements with college communities include national partnerships with Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and Alpha Chi Omega Sorority, collaboration with large-scale collegiate organizations, and an annual day of awareness and education during Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month, RAINN Day.
