Washington, D.C. - RAINN today announced that it has teamed up with Hulu for its release of a new documentary film, Untouchable. In the film, survivors of Harvey Weinstein share their stories of abuse and its effects on their lives and careers. For some of the survivors, they are sharing these stories for the very first time.
“We are grateful to Hulu for providing the National Sexual Assault Hotline (800.656.HOPE and online.rainn.org) to viewers who need to talk after viewing this film,” said Erinn Robinson, spokesperson for RAINN. “We hope that the courage of the survivors in this film will encourage others to come forward, share their stories, and heal from the trauma.”
In addition to the National Sexual Assault Hotline, RAINN offers several resources for anyone watching Untouchable who has been affected by sexual violence, including tips for survivors on consuming media, self-care ideas, and sexual harassment.
