Eight-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tori Amos is putting her musical talents to work, yet again, to support survivors of sexual violence.
Tori has released a new song as part of a Netflix documentary and launched an online auction—the proceeds of which will benefit RAINN’s National Sexual Assault Hotline. Fans can bid on a variety of auction items, including tickets for the screening of the film in New York City.
Tori’s song, “Flicker,” captures the challenges faced by survivors who feel abandoned, not believed, or misunderstood. She wrote and recorded the original piece for the documentary, Audrie & Daisy, which follows the stories of two teenagers who were sexually assaulted, filmed by their peers, and shamed on social media.
Bid on exclusive items and experiences, handpicked by Tori, to support survivors of sexual violence—now through September 19.
Tori was RAINN’s first spokesperson and has continued to support the National Sexual Assault Hotline year after year. To complement the release of the film and song, Amos is hosting an online auction to raise critical funds for the National Sexual Assault Hotline. She hopes to engage fans across the world to bid on exclusive items and experiences to support RAINN’s work with survivors.

For Tori, a central theme in her advocacy and artistic efforts has been letting survivors know they are not alone. "Flicker was written after seeing Audrie & Daisy in an attempt to shed light on the devastating complexities of sexual violence," said Tori. "Even when survivors of sexual violence feel abandoned by those closest to them, they're never alone; RAINN is here to help."
RAINN and Amos hope that the release of the film and song will encourage awareness around the challenges faced by teen survivors of sexuall assault.
